Franz Bakery, the largest independent, family-owned bakery on the West Coast introduces two new bun offerings just in time for spring. Chicago-style hot dog and Kaiser BBQ buns are now available wherever Franz products are sold in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Northern California and Montana. Franz offers a wide variety of hot dog and hamburger buns and rolls for the upcoming grilling season, ranging from whole wheat hot dog buns to sliders and pub buns.

Recognizing that Thanksgiving leftovers are every bit as important to many as the feast itself, Franz Bakery, the largest independent, family-owned bakery on the West Coast, has offered some succulent sandwich suggestions for creating new meals from Thanksgiving Day leftovers. All recipes are offered with simplicity in mind.

Franz Bakery, the largest independent, family-owned bakery on the West Coast, recently donated $5,000 to the St. Luke’s Women’s Fitness Celebration 5K Run/Walk/Stroll in Boise, Idaho. The donation was used to fund entry scholarships for women and children to participate in the 5K event. To raise money, Franz sold 5,000 loaves of bread for one dollar each at the St. Luke’s Women’s Show in late Sept. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the event’s bread sales went directly to the organization.
